About the exhibition
A series of images which reflect a spontaneous reaction to the people, scenes and energy of Kerala, south west India during January 2006. These pictures focus primarily on the areas of Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum), Vizhinjam, Kovalam and the backwaters around Alappuzah (Alleppey).

"I was struck by the power, resourcefulness and transparency of the Keralan environment. Every corner I turned presented another visual feast which I had no choice but to attempt to record.
My efforts were met only with encouragement and humour." RK
